I can't help you with the 17 but I see you have a variety of rear sprockets. What gearing are you most impressed with through the quarter?

I've been playing with 16/42 and 16/43 a lot. The bad part is I'm just getting into 5th gear which is bad. I either want to stay at the top of 4th or go bigger and get into the top of 5th. I tried 16/46 and the bike was violent as hell out of the hole, not to mention pulled the tire in 2nd and 3rd also. I'm thinking of a 17/43 or 17/44 if I can find a 17 tooth front.

FYI - I have a Trac 8" arm on my bike and weigh 230.
