Montana eh? I was just up there from Yellowstone to Butte then south to Idaho Falls. Rained all the way…
I doubt that a ‘signature’ is left that would identify who flashed it. And how would you tell what was (adjusted)? If you’re sure it was flashed I’d probably have it flashed to match whatever you’re doing to it. 06 was a good year, I bought my 06 LE new and it turned over 88,000 miles in Idaho. It’s been a great bike pure stock. Good luck with yours.

One thing some tuners do is put their vendor sticker on the ECU. Check that out if you have not looked.
