    overheating in trafic

    To run efficiantly the throttle bodies must be balanced or synchronized, just like carburettors. Use vacuum gauges in the same way as you would with carbs. Get a manual for a detailed explanation , how to do it. Manual reccomends balancing every 7500 miles.

    PC-II remap took care of our overheating problem... now if we could just get rid of the stumble at 3 grand... <span id='postcolor'> Fit a TRE and balance the Throttle bodies.

    Gas mileage

    I average about 40 -45 mpg depending on usage that's about 9.5 - 10 miles to the litre or 33 - 35 miles per US gallon.

    I change my oil every 3000 miles and filter every 6000 miles. I use genuine Suzuki filters as I don't trust the aftermarket items and the difference is £4 - £5 for a aftermarket and about £9- £10 ($15) for OEM.     Went on a riders rights demo yesterday, with my son as pillion. 357 miles from home to back home on the Sigma (389 on the bike trip meter). 42.62 mph average for the whole journey. 8 hours 22 minutes 10 seconds actual riding time 12 hours 15 minutes away from home.     New chain

    I'm just about to get a new chain as i'm almost at the end of adjusment and it has a tight spot. 17000 miles up. most people I know have changed their chains between 15000 to 18000 miles.
