    GTO vs GT

Not really comparing the Vette to the others. The Vette is a different animal. Thus the higher price tag.

    GTO vs GT

I've been looking for something to go with the 'busa. I think I've narrowed it down to three cars; Ford Mustang GT, Pontiac GTO and Chevy Corvette. (slightly used, low mileage). What are you opinions of the Mustang GT vs the Pontiac GTO? I think that I am leaning towards the GTO. All...

    Best Of Both Busa's

IMHO, the '08 will be a much better bike. Just natural evolution. I like everything about it except the tail. If money is not part of the equation, I say get the '08. Just my opinion.

    What takes more skill??

Didn't mention what level of skill.  I think that it takes less skill for the average joe to perform on the 1320.  The hardest part is keeping the front end down and you're usually riding on the center of the tire.  May not be a 9-second racer but that's okay.  I feel that a road course requires...

    belly wing

It was taken from Formula One technology.  It serves as a wing to produce downforce to keep the rear wheel planted at speed.  I took it off once and I couldn't keep the rear wheel down.  Maybe I should have installed a center stand for added weight or taken the helium out of the tires.

    Fat tire! will I wreck?

The offset of the 240 tire is a definite turnoff for me. I can't help but believe the handling would be adversely affected. Have you ever seen a car going down the street and the front and rear wheels track differently. Would a 240 busa ride that way. 240 owners chime in.

    2 way alarms

I have the Scorpio. Almost 2 years old and still works great. Plus good customer service. Also, there is a new version out now. Not sure what the difference is.

    Not Again!!  Help

No luck today.  Drilled to the end of the wall, inserted extractor, Snap! again.  Now I think it's time for Vic_E55_2001's suggestion and get an 8mm bit to try to clean it out.   I was thinking of drilling with the 8mm bit and try to rethread.  If anyone has other ideas, I'm all ears. Is it...

    Not Again!!  Help

Thanks for the help all.   Mymaster- Thanks for the link.  Good info.   Bitabur-  It's not flush.  After all of the efforts yesterday, it is now about an inch deep.   Tinmann-    The slider has a smaller inside diameter.  So the hole was drilled to cover that portion.   Bigoltool-...

    Not Again!!  Help

I started out just trying to drill a hole down the middle. Each time I tried to reverse it, it would strip. I bought a 5pc screw extractor set (5/64", 7/64", 5/32", 1/4", and 19/64") and a 5pc fluted screw extractor set (1/8", 3/16', 15/64", 5/16", and 3/8"). If I can go straight through the...

    Not Again!!  Help

Well, finally decided to install the heli-bars. I was taking my time. Finished the right side, now time for the left. Time to take the frame slider off so I can remove the fairing (this is the one bad thing about frame sliders). SNAP! The motor mount bolt snaps and the rest is buried deep...
