Can a Gen2 fuel Pump be used on a Gen1 bike????????

When I am at WOT the bike is hesitating like its starving for fuel. It wont even pull into the rev limiter just reving it? it has a fuel pump from an 06, just had the fuel injectors serviced at factory pro?

I have em too. Very nice and sound great!!!! Cant beat the price.

In the morning, after a few miles down the road to warm up, the bike has a hard time swinging the tach to the redline? The air is cool and very damp. On the way home in the afternoon, it's warm and sunny and the bike runs like a raped ape? any ideas?
