Hmm, I Did do the first service reset myself using that pin method, so that very well might be it. If I reset it myself to the 3,750 miles and it actually is a check engine service light, it should just pop back up though right?
I had my service light go on at about 1,500 miles but thought the manual said 600 then 3,750. I just wanted to rule out this being a normal oil change reminder or maybe the reminder wasn't reset properly after the 600-mile one, before I take it into the dealership to see what's wrong.
Thought I would switch over to K&N instead of buying an oil filter wrench. Torque wrench head definitely wouldn't fit, but neither would a regular socket. Also couldn't use an extender to go between the headers because of the cross brace. Ended up using an adjustable wrench but I'm not trying...
I've seen pictures of the hump installed with the grab rail and am planning on using a Dremel to do mine as well. I was just wondering how it looks like up close and the bottom of the hump. 2000TransAm had posted the angle I wanted, he was just doing the storage hump mod, not the grab rail hump mod.
"Normally, engine braking is a good thing. But powerful bikes like the Hayabusa can break rear-wheel traction if you downshift aggressively. An engine brake control system cancels out the effect of engine braking and has three levels so you can set just how much engine-braking you prefer." -...
I've misplaced my manual and am having a hard time finding a good guide for all the modes, what the numbers mean, and under what settings screen each option is. Feel free to fill in the blanks & correct any errors. Maybe we can edit the original as a guide, or repost the final draft.

I’m surprised a ready-made solution has not come to market yet. I just ordered This retractable cable lock. As an added bonus I should be able to pass it through my jacket loop so I can secure that to the bike when I take it off on hot days.
The phone was a must because I use it for navigation and Waze reports. I ended up just using two-part epoxy to attach a Ram size B ball mount to the tank. I can also dual-purpose it for a camera stick mount. If I ever decide to remove it I'll just break it off, scrape off the glue, and cover up...
I had originally planned to have my phone on the Ram stem mount and radar detector on a windshield suction, but it covers more of the console than I'd like. New plan is to use this Amazon Ram mount to hold the detector and find a way to secure my phone to the indent on tank. Has anyone mounted...
Pulled the trigger on one of the last Cycle Guys Fastpack tail bags I could find since they were discontinued. The size 4 (CG2-05) was designed for the Gen 2 but I really liked it on my old bike so I had to give the fitment a try. The Gen 3 back seat is an inch wider so it bulges out a little...
Looks like if you want a deal on 2022 you have to import them from foreign places like Germany and California. Just look for any place that has $8/gallon gas.
