    msf course

It depends on the local bike shops to be honest. One of the courses in Pensacola uses nighthawks, the other doesn't have bikes. Right now the course on Keesler AFB doesn't have a contract either so you have to have your own bike too. Some courses have a hard time getting bikes with the economy...

    msf course

I'm an MSF instructor and yes, all the obstacles ARE fairly easy until that figure 8. I can do the figure 8 on my FZ1 standing up, sitting down, come to a stop in the middle without putting my feet down, the WHOLE thing.....it's a whole different game on the busa though. It took me a while to...

    Man what a diff!

always have to have sceptics that want to put down something someone has done. He made a nice mod on his bike that functionally makes it feel better to him.......why can't you just say nice job or just be quiet about it? He's happy with it, it works good......and THAT'S what was important!

    slip-on question....

Some folks don't understand the amazing difference it what it takes for that extra 4-6 mph either!

    slip-on question....

That's why I bought it. One of my life goals was to break 200 on a bike. With a little time to learn the bike and a few things to improve it I may meet my goal. It's just a damned shame its taken me 53 years to get to this point!!

    slip-on question....

it seems like the stumble at 2500-3500 or so is worse after I put them on. Might just be more noticeable now since you can hear it more than feel it. TRE mod? I may not do the airbox since I rarely ride a bike as hard as it can be ridden. Mostly interstate and in town with a blast down a...

    Two Brothers vs Yoshimura

I scored a set of Yosh carbon fiber slip-ons today that are like new for $250. Bolted 'em on and was really impressed with the depth of the sound. It SOUNDS like a big-bore bike now instead of a steroid-laced volkswagon. Not too loud but even my wife commented on how it rumbles now instead of...

    slip-on question....

I scored me a set of really nice Yosh carbon fiber slip-ons today for $250 and bolted them on. Realistically speaking, other than the added DEEP sound can I expect any seat of the pants torque/hp gains? WIll be modding the airbox and doing a filter as well which will more than likely force me in...

    newbie to busaland

Took it out for a bit yesterday and really got on it for the first time. The acceleration is deceptively fast because it just pulls all the way through every gear. No sudden torque curve, nothing unpredictable, just smooth power. I stayed in it from a good roll up to a buck seventy...

    Perfect morning.......

I hear ya. I'm only two months out of my last knee surgery too so I wasn't quite sure how it would act being tucked up under me. Felt OK so I'm sure it's mending fine. I couldn't have ridden after a wrist/hand though....damn, that hurts to even THINK about(wrist strain...AAAGGHH) ;)

    Perfect morning.......

We had a cool front come through that left us some 60 degree temps early today(will be in the 80's later) had an opportunity to ride before work so I took advantage of it. This was my first chance to really get out and let the busa breath with me too so I geared up and gave it a hit. Road over...
