Yea I went with the 200/50 rear just for a change to try something new. Ten mm fatter in the rear should look cool but not slow down the turn in too much. I'd almost even bet that the difference between the 190 and the 200 won't even be 10 mm in real life. You never know till you try it...
Just under fifteen thousand miles on my 08 and time for the forth set of tires. I got almost 6000 out of the original BT015 set, which is kind of a lot I hear, and then switched to a set of the BT016's which got me about 4000 miles(the front tire totally wore out the sides or the shoulder and...
Only difference in 3 years is what Kawi did with their ZX1400R. It would be nice to see Suzuki step up to the plate and regain its throne at the top again. I will trade in or sell my Gen II for a Gen III if Suzuki does to the Hayabusa what Kawi did to their ZX1400R. I love my bike as it is...
Try buffing it with either an air or electric buffer and a little compound not wax. If that doesn't take the edge off you can lightly wet sand it with at least 2000 grit or even finer and then you will have to buff it again with compound to get the fine sanding scratches out and then buff again...
I have a full 4 into 1 Yosh R77 and if you want loud then this probably isn't the right one for you. The r55 might be a little louder or go with a Two Brothers system which is definitely louder than the Yosh.
Those marks aren't oil leaks! It's just a mark left on the tube from where the seal or bushing is riding when you're riding and the suspension is sagging when you sit on the bike. I would say most all of us would see the same thing if we went out and looked at our bikes. You'll know when fork...
I know some big touring bikes like Goldwings and what not have reverse but to try and add it into a transmission case as an after thought probably isn't gonna happen but...... if you had a wide tire swing arm with a jack shaft you might be able to fabricate another gear with a one way spragg...
I'll put my Vortex stands up against any out there! Plenty strong, stout and well built compared to most that I've seen. Got my rear for about 80 bucks and the front triple tree stand for about 40 bucks more!
Keep the bike at least until the delivery and see how it works for a while with the Saab and if it is too unbearable then trade the Saab in on something a little bigger but cheaper that doesn't require selling the bike:thumbsup:
Take both left and right side plastics off and cover the fender with a towel. Take all the oil cooler and radiator screws out to move them forward but you don't need to actually take the hoses off and remove the radiator completely.I think I left the top screws for the radiator in but loose and...
Sounds like a lot of original batteries in the 08's. My 08 has the original in it and I've never used a tender on it even during the winter months but I do uncover it and start it up a few times and let it run until the fans come on. Keeping my fingers crossed and saying my prayers.:please:
