If you choose to cross ANYWHERE other than a legal point of entry, makes me question WHY and WHAT are you hiding...........as the legal port of entry is your fastest and most efficient means of entering a country hands down.
You are so self conscious about the border, might make someone wonder what you are hiding too.
May Islam bring you peace.

It really speaks volumes when a NATO country like Denmark is preparing to repel a perceived American military action against their sovereign territory (Greenland) and even have France saying they would commit troops to assist them......

And having Panama thinking the same way........

.....not good......

Canada, Greenland, Panama…can’t help but think that Putin’s philosophy has energized Trump’s proclivity for power. Patience, as this too shall pass. Every now and then Trump displays wisdom but for the most part he’s like an impatient 8 year old.

Well the minute you cross into ANY international country at any place other than a legal port of entry, you have automatically broken the criminal code by trespassing..................regardless of your reason for doing so. Thus you are automatically a criminal the minute you cross that fence, line, border, or monument stating this is an "international boundary" and you must not pass without authorization or prior approval.

If you choose to cross ANYWHERE other than a legal point of entry, makes me question WHY and WHAT are you hiding...........as the legal port of entry is your fastest and most efficient means of entering a country hands down.

I have absolutely no issues with ANYONE who comes into Canada or the US legally, but if you choose ANY OTHER WAY you should be arrested like the criminal you are, charged as a criminal, black flagged from ever returning again and returned immediately to the nearest port of entry for you host/home country. No If's, And's or But's about it.

Cameron

Why the big deal about criminals? trump, a criminal himself, already let out over a thousand criminals out of jail including the oath keeper and proud boys bosses as well as those who assaulted the police while (illegally) busting into the capital. Where’s your outrage for all those criminals? Or do you just dislike Hispanics who cross the border who haven’t assaulted anyone?

I like getting rid of changing the clocks, trimming the fat off of government agencies, keeping biological males out of women's sports...
don't get me wrong I still think he's a dullard and an oaf as illustrated by his determination to push tariffs on shipments from allies and foes which will only raise the price to consumers, or to push the awkward, ill planned deportation project. I guess my point is that as is said, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

There is a documentary on right now where there were 5 female Holocaust survivors who were interviewed in the '70s....

One of them describes how they were rounded up by the Germans and forced out of their homes and moved several times before being placed into dirty cattle cars...on their way to (in this one case) Solibar.

I'll bet these illegal aliens currently in the US will have similar stories to tell years from now......of a police force forcing them from their homes and sending them away to a land most of them either can't remember or have never known....

Illegal aliens or not, these are still human beings.....first they start with the criminal element (and they will decide who is a criminal) and then follow up with any illegal alien and if it goes through, their children who were born and raised in the US only to be ripped out of the only home they have been in.....

One thing will come out of this-a very deep hatred towards Trump and his administration by not only these people but by the countries forced to take them in.......
Hi. I sure would be upset to get back all the crimanals back that I shiped to the USA. And what about all the people that has waited years to come and millions just walk in in front of them. How would you feel if were on the list for years to get the new Busa and someone walks in front of you and gets the last one that will ever be made.

.......I have never said that strengthening the border wasn't a good thing nor did I ever say that deporting illegal criminals is a bad thing...what I say was there are people who yes entered illegally but have since been a positive part of society, never committed crimes and went to work each day....these people need to be considered differently and not under the blanket "grab and punt" as he is currently doing. Ask all the farmers who is going to harvest their crops..........that will be a real problem going forward....and that's the reality of it all.....
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hell, in almost everything I have seen, Trump has made it very clear that he wants Greenland, the Panama Canal and Canada.....he's delusional at best......perhaps this started off as an off-color joke but it has snowballed to the point of other countries pledging to side with the countries he's threatened.....

Threats that are shocking to come from an allied nation towards another......

So far he's pissed off the UK, Denmark, Panama, Switzerland, Columbia, Canada, Mexico, Palestine, France and the EU.

Not bad for a little over a week in the seat.....

He's going to find out just how dependent the US is on other countries......

If you arrive at a legal port of entry, and answer all the questions honestly to the best of your ability I welcome you with open arms.
If we find out you lied at any point, or streatched the truth you will be removed.
I don't understand what is so hard for people to understand, when you entering another country be completely open and honest.....................otherwise your going to be treated as suspicious and should be.

If you are open and honest from the start, Canada and the US will welcome you with open arms and help any way we can............................if not, you are NOT wanted in the country and should be removed.

Here in Canada and the US we have a line up of people wanting to get here, we have every right to picky and choosy.

Trumps conviction is in appeals court as we speak...................meaning it is still in the courts.

May I remind you how many hundreds of charges were thrown at him, and all but ONE was thrown out of court.
If this doesn't show you how the democrats used the DOJ as a weapon against Trump, than nothing will.

I can only hope Trump now uses the next 4 years to expose these democrats for the vial scum they truly are, and shows you the ugly underbelly of the US and democrat policies.

Then and only then will you see the truth about the Obama's, Bidens, and Clintons of this world.

I'm no liberal but even I can see that Trump is no innocent, bleating lamb who has been so horribly treated....

He is a swamp monster along with all the rest......he's just a loud one with zero filters.......

All this shows is just how weak the American judicial system is and how wealth and privilege is treated.....

Trump reminds me of the Emperor in the Star Wars movies....as long as you do each and everything he wants, you are OK, the minute you step out of line even a little, and you are thrown away like a bag of trash.....

Now he has regained a foot hold in the White House and has surrounded himself with a gang that does everything he says and does it fast without question or feed back...even his VP has said a few things which go against the Trump narrative.....I wonder how long he will last....

However, you and I are in Canada and we have our own troubles here to worry about.....

I feel for all my family living in the US.

Still in the courts? So? He’s still a convicted criminal. And “hundreds” of charges? What were they? Maybe you’re mixed up as it was trump that tried 50-60 times to sue or bring charges and all but one were thrown out of court. Dems aren’t “vial” or even vile scum.

I never said Trump was 100% innocent when it comes down to the letter of the law. However I don't believe he did anything more than what was the Status Quo at the time, and what was considered normal business procedure. The fact that the bank would have still given him the funds regardless at the time, makes it even MORE obvious that overestimating your market value was common practise, and the banks knew it and are in on it as well.

So, If you are going to go this hard after Trump and hold him to the letter of the law, then the precedent has now been set........................Which means there are thousands of high ranking business men/women and even politicians who are now in the legal cross hairs and should be formally charged and fighting it out in court as well. I hope in this case, Trump merely opens his black book to the FBI and have them start charging every single one of them, including the Obama's, Clinton's, and Biden as well. If what is good for the goose, must be good for the gander and I hope American citizens open up to just how shoddy, unregulated, and dirty the underbelly of US financial affairs really is. So while your bank holds citizens to the letter of the law, they let the billionaires do as their please and the former FBI investigators were all in on it too.

There are thousands of back door deals that citizens remain blind to, and if Trump is held to the letter of the law......................it's time he exposes every single shoddy, questionable, and backdoor deal made going back 30 years. Then exposes every single politician, businessman and their families linked to it.

But, your right..........................Here in Canada we have much more pressing issues coming, and if tariffs are imposed on Canada, I hope we meet them dollar for dollar. We don't need to poke the bear, but we have every right to match what we are being thrown.

The US forgets that when Canada controls the basic natural resource, we control the ENTIRE network from there on.
Turn off the Oil Taps, Close the Gas Valves, Flip the Hydro Switch, and close every border going to the USA
Canadians are hearty folk, we have everything we need right here to survive.
We still know how to make everything, we just bought it from the US because it was cheaper, but it was also garbage quality too.
Time for Canadians to enjoy Canadian Quality once again

So out of the hundreds of allegations you dems only managed ONE conviction.................which on On January 10, 2025, Trump received an unconditional discharge of his sentence. Meaning NOTHING's going to happen (and those where democrat judges that approved it too)

Seems more like a which hunt to me..................But that's OK, I hope Trump starts a witch hunt of his own, and shows your lambs the dirty underbelly of the democrats in the US. Not to mention how the Clinton's are the largest international arms dealers in the US, and use their charity as a cover for it.

I think it's more that his wealth and privilege did more for him than anything else....

I would say this was a sort of "witch hunt" as I'm certain many of his peers are guilty of the same things....that being said, it still doesn't negate the fact he did these things (and probably more) himself. His moral character has to come into question......and this to me should be one of the check in the boxes for a person to be able to run for the highest office in America.....he is supposed to be the single person every kid in America aspires to be....I sure wouldn't want my grandkids aspiring to be him.....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sadly at the very time we need one, we have no leader in Canada.......and if there isn't an election to remove the liberal party, we won't have one for some time....

Trump is just starting where he left off in these tariffs....he wanted to impose them then but was voted out of office before he could enact them.

He did impose some tariffs during his first term but they only raised consumer prices here. After the economy and immigration being the hottest topics of the election, the price of goods will be under a microscope. Given time, tariffs could boost American production, a win win, but it would take quite a bit of time. The last thing Trump needs initially is higher costs to the public, so good relationships with other countries are crucial.

In my opinion all he is doing right now is boasting, and creating waves and unrest......................He wants others on their feet, waiting for him.
This is what he does.................PERIOD.

But sadly he believes that tariffs are good for the American economy. Now, I will agree with him in terms of China, the Pacific Rim and Mexico as it will level the playing field between these manufacturing giants. But Canada is so close in terms of costs, lifestyle, etc, etc it would be equivalent to shooting himself in the foot.

So sit back and let Trump make outlandish claims, yell and scream..........................It's only when he actually acts, that Canada needs to be ready to react.
So while Trump can think Canada is weak, we Canadian citizens aren't stupid. We know that we control the base natural resource that the US needs to operate, which means we control a lot more than he thinks.

If Trump is willing to throw decades of trade contracts out the window, Canada will indeed be swift to react and rip up the very contracts he thinks we shouldn't. Call us names all you want, the only way to deal with a bully is to deal with them swiftly, quickly, and loudly, and publicly.

Remember, we have the heavy crude oil his refineries need (a retrofit will cost billions per refinery), we have the Natural Gas his power plants need to run, and citizens need to heat their homes in this cold winter. ALL of Niagara power generation is done on the Canadian side of the border, and with a flip of a switch a large part of the US is black. We have all the wheat, Soy bean, Corn, and other crops that feed the US factories. We have all the softwood lumber we will ever need to build our houses, businesses, and heat our homes for decades if not centuries to come.

Canada has all the Natural Resources it needs to survive, we are an exporting country..............we can choose to stop exporting at anytime and keep it for ourselves. The US is a Large importing country and relies on imports to survive and maintain it's citizens, you can't stop importing.

At the end of the day the US can think they control negotiations all they want.............................under every pillow in Canada (outside the GTA and Vancouver) there is a gun or a weapon. If the US is stupid enough to think they will invade us again we will have NO PROBLEM burning the white house down for a second time, except we won't stop there this time. So, go ahead - Poke Canada, see how quickly we take your finger right off.

Canadians are pissed off right now to the point of breaking thanks to Trudeau, don't think for a second our built up and pent up anger won't be used towards our neighbours to the south for even thinking they can push us around.

Just my 2 cents

In an armed conflict against the US, Canada would last a very, very short time....their military is vastly superior to ours in every single way, they would gain air superiority in a matter of hours and strike our infrastructure and military bases indiscriminately.......it wouldn't even be a contest......

It's crazy talk to even think any different.....

However, the US can collapse our economy quickly enough so they would never need to actually invade us

Duro’s post said a lot. Canada and the U.S. have to, will remain, friendly neighbors. Trump’s shoot from the hip way of talking is just that…talk. I’m much more concerned about his insistence on talking about the Panama Canal and Greenland. Good relationships are crucial. Playing the bully does zero to advance that.
