Good looking place....but I don't know how people are going to afford to live in the coming years, the price of everything is going through the roof....nobody wants to mention the word "depression" but there is certainly a recession happening.

As we've seen, there is absolutely no bartering for prices of anything either...if you are to buy something, the sticker price is what you'll pay. A neighbor recently bought a Polaris RZR 1000 and he paid more than sticker price in order to assure he'd get it...the dealership said he has a waiting list for them and can sell them for whatever he wants right now so the guy was lucky to get one at all...

Any recreational vehicle (toy) is the same.....guys who are buying boats are running into the same issue-pay up or get out...

Something has to give in the housing market...it has gone nuts...at least here in Canada...

Houses are coming on the market and are selling above the asking price, it is a seller's market for sure but once these houses are sold, I wonder how long they can hold their value....One house not too far away sold for over $100k over it's list price (a fixer upper basically)....people saw that and started selling their houses to make the big money...

Selling a house was an excellent idea in the last several years until recently unless you own a home in the New England market. For some reason that market is holding strong while most other areas flounder and drop.

Since we all need a place to live the only real gains will be gained by investors with multiple properties. If you were to downsize to an RV and liked it you or anybody as a single homeowner could make some money, but it would be at the expense of space and comfort.

The real money problems come down to over spending by governments, not having equity assets that are tangible and loaning out more money to those that can't afford to pay it back.

The giving in the housing market will probably be like it was last time... the Federal Reserve loans more money to the Treasury so they can bail out the banks and then the tax payers get the bill to pay it back.

Sounds fair enough, doesn't it? I know.... wtf! not this crap again...

So... lets let the banks fail next time just like we would if we over spent our income.

Update... its now being reported that Hunter Biden is involved in sex trafficking... how does that compare to the children of former president Trump?
