Is this software incompatable with Win XP? Wonky as all get out on both IE and Chrome.

The OS really doesn't have any affect on the forum but the browser that you can run on that OS is limited. Not sure if you know it or not but XP is end of life and there are HUGE security risk using it still...

I hate to complain - but I'm afraid that you didn't think about any of us Colorblind people when the colors for this site where chosen.

The gray text on a gray background is hard to make out. The smaller the text the harder it is to see.
See how much better this shows up compared to this which blends in much more.

Maybe you normal people can see this just fine But I'm betting others like me can see this 100 times better.

I'm colorblind too, but there are many variations of colorblindness.
I can see the new forum fine, I'm sorry you're having problems.

Off subject, I don't play alot of video games, but I really like Black Ops 2.
But, I can't play Black Ops 3...the map's colors are too hard for me to make out what's going on, lol.

True. Colorblindness is different from person to person - But most people are RED-GREEN colorblind with other shades effected.
I doubt that most colorblind people are colorblind to Blue for instance (the sky is blue, right? or gray?). We may not all see the blue color the same
but it probably will not blend in with gray as well as other colors might. That is why I used blue (I think?) in the post I did above to illustrate that it
would NOT HURT any normal color vision people. But more then likely it would be easier to see for MOST colorblind people - I know it is for me.

Sixpack glad you can see the forum fine - but don't you agree that the blue (which is better than gray to me) was not any harder for you to read?
If the Blue was harder to read then let us know - my point is that I don't think most people (colorblind or not) would say it was harder, but I'll bet
some colorblind people would say it was easier. Just so you know When I look at a Colorblind test book with 20 plates I fail them all. Maybe you don't?

With that said, I don't live in a black and white world by a long shot - but I doubt that I see exactly what most normal color vision people see unless it's black and white.

I don't want to turn this post into a debate on colorblindness, as that has been covered in the past on this forum. ISSUES WITH NEW FORUM is the title and I'm just telling what I see.
I guess I don't remember the OLD forum looking exactly like this one - because soon after I logged in, I noticed some things were harder to see then I remember from before. ???

Red I completely get where you are coming from and we have plans to get some other colors on the site that will allow guys to customize a little. I can tell you that the colors of the new forum are the exact same as the old site, when we made the skin we used the same color combinations and I went and grabbed a screen shot of the old site so you could see it... not doubting your troubles at all just know we will work to get you something as soon as we can...

Army said I was red/green colorblind too(then disqualified me over some screws in my bones, lol).
I could see one number out of the 20 something colored dot circle things they showed me, and saw a different number in one or two more in a different set they showed me next (had a few Colorblind tests over the years, and I usually get at least one right! lol)
And yeah, the blue is easier for me to see.

Thanks Cap.

In the image (screenshot) you posted there appears to be very little gray vs. the amount of gray in the current forum
The words Share This Page are very faint to me as an example.

I noticed in the screenshot the old forum had the "What's New?" is there a reason that was taken away? More code to write? ???

Oh well thanks for trying to help us colorblind riders out. I think it would be really cool to change the colors of the forum while I'm logged in.
Just imagine if a forum member came over to my house and saw what I had changed it to - they would either freak out or think my vision was really messed up or that
I had been drinking. :drink:

The thing to remember is that the software behind the scenes is from a whole new company.... This wasn't an upgrade in versions... So we essentially switched from Ford to Chevy, while they both have cruise control how you set the cruise and use it the same where the buttons are at and the indicators are different. The same thing holds true here! we skinned or themed the new software to look as much like the old forum so that folks could find their way around, while maybe a little clunky it's still a new 2016 Corvette as compared to the 76 firebird we were driving :) At one time that was a cool car too right :) .. The concepts are the same and we are really doing pretty good considering all of the code and changes in the background... The features are still there they are just in different places just like the cruise...

In the image below you can see that if you click on forums a sub menu of "New Posts" comes up which is the same as " Whats New", same feature different name...

You can chose the default site colors which is blue letters on a white background. Scroll to the bottom of whatever page you are on and click on the "Hayabusa" text in the lower left corner and a pop-up box will give you the option of the default theme or the hayabusa theme.
