On this forum? Yeah probebly, but unlike many who dont agree, I dont mind helping people who need it.

Its great to know they passed a bill that the majority of the U.S of A needs and wants. :cheerleader::cheerleader:

The there are over 300 million in the USA. Approx. 40 million uninsured. Majority did not need this. Most Americans did not want this to be PUSHED through either.

The 10 immediate benefits of HCR

Adult children may remain as dependents on their parents’ policy until their 27th birthday
Children under age 19 may not be excluded for pre-existing conditions
No more lifetime or annual caps on coverage
Free preventative care for all
Adults with pre-existing conditions may buy into a national high-risk pool until the exchanges come online. While these will not be cheap, they’re still better than total exclusion and get some benefit from a wider pool of insureds.
Small businesses will be entitled to a tax credit for 2009 and 2010, which could be as much as 50% of what they pay for employees’ health insurance.
The “donut hole” closes for Medicare patients, making prescription medications more affordable for seniors.
Requirement that all insurers must post their balance sheets on the Internet and fully disclose administrative costs, executive compensation packages, and benefit payments.
Authorizes early funding of community health centers in all 50 states (Bernie Sanders’ amendment). Community health centers provide primary, dental and vision services to people in the community, based on a sliding scale for payment according to ability to pay

So 260 Million say "NO" and 40 Million say "YES". How is that the majority? Somebody failed math class in a big way.

$3500 fine for not selecting a Government plan. Private insurance will become illegal to purchase in the next 4 years. The Government will have the final say in ALL healthcare decisions. The doctors will no longer have an incentive to do their best since the Government will decide their pay scale. The list goes on, and on, and on.

Don't really understand everything entailed.. I won't lie haven't read the bible thick book it must be.

But there is in one thing that is certain if it's so great the government officials wouldn't have gone back an excluded themselves from it in order to get it through.....

A little curious though later on down the road I am guessing you won't be able to sue for malpractice, one of the many things that drive up the cost of healthcare???

I am clueless but I am convinced the politicians are out to take care of number one (themselves) not the people that put them there all you can do is ride your busa as long as you can while the ship sinks.... Crime does pay

In November, the Conservatives will take it apart and do it correctly. In the meantime, there are lawsuits that will put an injunction on the forwarding of the law. That will take us to sweet November, sweet, sweet November.

As I read this, I am hoping you are right. But it also got me thinking about how we can only blame ourselves (the entire voting country) for this mess. When one party has complete control of WH and Congress, with no checks and balances, what do you expect.

I'm going to sleep this head ach off and hope this turns out to be a nightmare in the morning.

I don't have insurance right now, I don't believe in anyone getting anything they didn't work for... including me :moon:

And have you seen a crackhead in your doctors office lately?
Your kids will soon.
