Not even sure I will like riding it yet ??
It is a col looking bike and it should make the curves a little straiter however I love my Busa and am trully one of those people who know it is the supreme superbike

The 1000 is Buzzy compared to the Busa
As far as power goes I have no idea why liter bikes get the uper hand in tests other than the test riders are all 125 lbs but the Busa from 0-10,000 RPM feels twice as powerfull. At 10k the 1000 seems to come on real strong.
Handles real good but Busa fits my frame much better.

Welcome to the club! There are several of us that have Busa's and Gixxer 1K's here. I concur that the Busa feels like it's got twice the power as the Gixxer, maybe because it's heavier it give that sensation, but wind that Gixxer up and it will haul azz too (oh, and slows down quicker too!)

Nice, My son has the same gixxer. I guess I can consider myself lucky. I can ride his when I want to and keep my busa. You made a good choice, the 1000 pulls hard and is a very nimble bike.

As Skydivr says, Welcome to the Club! I have one busa and two gixxer1Ks. I like my busa but I dearly love my 1k. It does everything the busa does but does most everything better. And yes, you will feel a little out of place on the gixxer when you first start riding it but soon that strange feeling will wander off into the sunset and you'll be hiding behind a huge smile!

Actually, I owned two of the blk/org K7 gixxers. I think it's the most appealing 1K suzuki has ever produced.

Enjoy your new ride but do me one huge favor. Get that puppy out and scrub that huge chicken strip off that rear tire!

Nice choice. They both have their strong points and fit different missions. Enjoy.

That is a great choice for a second bike! I wish I felt more comfortable on a GSXR 1000. I just get to cramped on smaller bikes. I guess I will just have to suck it up and get a second 'Busa. Poor me.

If I was going to get something a little more "flickable" then that's the bike I would get! All the way down to the color!! I think that's the sexiest Gixer 1000 ever made!! Congratulations on the addition to your family. :beerchug:
