We have a diversified group here on the oRg. From Blue Collar to upper Management.

Stock Market down 33% this year, Auto manufactures broke, Financial system broke, Retail sector is very hard hit with Bankruptcies monthly.

With that being said "How are things?"

as long as people keep going about their normal lives, things should be okay. If EVERYONE stops spending at once, we'll all be out of a job

A guy I knew out of Sac was in that biz too.. I think he worked for a company that rebuilt the things.. I got to walk through a gas turbine generator in Bakersfield (power generator for an oil field) that they rebuilt.. what a cool machine that was...

Business is up, much of our automation is used in the bread making industry. We have a 75+ year history that shows people consume more bread when things are tough.

Bread in the supermarket and buns at Mcdonald's (both made with our equipment) are in high production mode now.

People seem to be delaying taking care of health issues because of the economy (layoffs and plant closures) and rapid increases in deductibles and co-pays required by health insurance plans.

Here is an excerpt from a New York Times article last Friday...

7000 jobs gone at American Express. Luckily my department is kind of untouchable at this point but we'll have to see after the turn of the year.
