your fav bike other than BUSA (you own)

My M109R, "slightly" modified.

WOW! Very nice!

Yeah baby. KLR's forever! I've been over 15 singletrack mountain passes in the Rockies, done (3) 950 mile days, commuted to work for years, and in three years from now, I'm riding it through the Klondike and to the Artic Circle for my retirement celebration. I have strong feelings for two motorcycles....Hayabusas and KLRs! Raydog

I have a 95 KLR. It's a lot of fun.

I've never owned or even ridden one of katanas but I think they look way cool.

I've had a couple gsxrs and loved them. Everything about them and will likely get another at some point. The 86 and 87 are my favorites.

My only other bike is a Cannondale. Saving for a track bike though.

Re: your fav bike...

That's a hard one !
Horses for courses, each have their own merits.
Ask me a different day and you'd get a different answer.

I have a lot of "favorites" from my past, but stuff I own ?

I do like my 1980 1100ET.
chopped about, rough and ready, worth naff-all but never fails
to put a grin on my face. High bar's, rear-set's, cut down seat
and a hairy scarey motor is just so so wrong. I love it !!

The B-King has its faults, small tank, ugly as a bag of monkeys butt's,
useless for pillions, no storage etc etc, but there's just something about it.
Its a shame so many people judge them without putting in the miles and
realising how good they are. To pull a stock naked bike out of the crate and
run very low 10's one weekend and do 500 mile day rides the next impresses me.

I do like my Bandits.
Not the faired tupperware versions or later watercooled ones though.
For me it has to be a Mk1 96-on Naked Oilcooled model. A very basic and
budget bike thats not out to pretend its something its not, not out to win
a moto-GP, and not loaded down with unwanted crap. A simple, basic bike,
that makes you work and keeps life interesting. For me it has a raw charm
that the Busa lacks.

I don't know who owns this bike, but it has always been my favorite. I found this pic online a couple of years ago.
