As you all know I own a Buell 1125r. Just broke a 1000 miles when the Motor started Claddering and Clanking. Sounds like a bad Piston or Rod, Even a Valve. The Rotax Motor is a Strong Motor but :wtf: ................This is a NEW Bike. :banghead:

Taking it back to the Dealer Soon :moon:

Greedy Americans dont really give a heck anymore. Its how fast can we produce it for the least amount of cost....

There's some guys building a v4 sport tourer in Birmingham Alabama that sounds promising. Motus motorsports

we can build decent cars here, they just happen to be japanese cars.....

American cars are made in Mexico.

American automobiles....They get their parts from all over the world. China, India, Mexico, South America...etc... And assemble some of em in the USA...Others in Canada (which isn't bad) and Mexico.

Scary thing is Hawker Beach just pulled their plant from my town...relocating it to Mexico...Think about that next time you're on an airplane :moon:

Hey Robert!
You still have the busa I hope!! At any rate, I hope they treat you right at the dealership!
You dudes ever ride on Saturdays anymore? Sheeshh! We gotta do it soon!
Ralph and I are doing the Sierraville/Downieville loop today and when weather permits (clear roads over the top), we'll be heading over the hill to assault the pavement on your side of the mountain!

Open the motor and on each piston you will see the words ,
'Made in China' that's why .

sooooo true.. My wife works for the largest investment casting CO in America and half there Harley contract went to China to cut cost so. All those Ass hole stuck up harley people that keep telling me to buy American.. they dont realize half the parts on there bike are from over seas

We can't build anything worth a crap because we are light years behind everyone as far as engineering goes and we do not tolerate sweat shops and slave labor well!!!

Frankly (and I know i am going to get myself in trouble for saying it) We have priced america skilled labor to the point that it is cheaper to take it overseas. Sorry to hear about the Buell. When they were introduced I had high hope for the 1125.

Didnt those go extinct?

thats the problem, there is no more "Made in America" anymore. Its all outsourced and assembled in America. The reason Japan make such well made products is the simple fact that the dont outsource.

Viagra... pee better commercials...pee-cee... no accountability...corruption on a massive scale...drugs...violence...lost family values...

BAD PIZZA!!!

There, I finally said it. Most pizza in this country stinks!

Here's a picture that my wife took at a Harley dealership the other day. Those crafty Chinese can make anything, including American legends! I particularly enjoyed the part where a salesman, we'll call him Skunk, tried to convince me the the 150hp (H-D actually claims 122hp) V-Rod Muscle would easily keep up with a Hayabusa. That made for a good laugh!:poke::rofl:

Apparently from the Buell Forms there are alot of Buells making Weird Noises. Some Dealers are Saying this is Normal. I will try to post an Audio Soon

Well, if it's normal then I say ride it til it breaks. Then they'll have to fix it. I've ridden with a couple of those bikes and they do crank out some strange sounds...
