Some put both on the back; some just move one back there. It's all personal preference. The only problem I see with that pic is the sleeveless shirt and jeans. Granted, I wear jeans when I ride, too, but that's just cause I don't have the money for leathers. But I do wear a leather jacket, gloves, and helmet. . . Always. But oh well. He'll learn when one goes wrong, one day.

Ahh, upon closer inspection, I see you're right. He's got some kind of chest/back protector, shoulder pads, and elbow pads.
