Ok here goes I will try to explain this as to the point as I can. I am not the actuall Hayabusa owner I own another brand (Honda) but am trying to help out a friend of mine from work who spends all his money on motorcycles and still does not have a computer. Ok my friend bought a 2000 Busa this winter and just took it to the track for the first time the other weekend, this is not his primary drag bike he usually races a very modified 93 gsxr 1100. here is the problem the week before he took the busa to the track he raced a 99 busa on the GSXR and noticed when he got the time slip that the 99 ran a 1.875 sec in the 60 ft 4.561 in the 330 ft 6.701 in the 8th mile at 114.85 mph the final et was 10.08 at 144.21 MPH well this 99 has just a pipe on it and a crazy air box mod that eliminated the srad thing. ok so he was thinking that since he had shreded the busa with a 9.87 on the GSXR that he should get some sort of pretty decent result with his 2000 busa well it did not work out that way the next week he ran slower than the 99 but has done mods to lower the bike a clutch mod pipe power commander and such well the times just did not add up. his 2000 busa ran 1.615 in the 60 ft (almost .2 faster than the 99) 4.391 in the 330 ft (still almost .2 faster) but in the 8th mile his busa laid an egg 6.624 at 110.36 (4 miles an hour slower than the 99) and in the quarter mile it went 10.16 at 138.49 (slower by almost 6mph and .08 at the end of the run) this does not add up if there is no diference between bikes. so if there are any ideas that you guys can come up with I would like to hear from you
