Took the 99 to the dragstrip after making a few changes today. The bike is now a dream to launch with the clutch fix. 60 ft. times were better. The airbox mod seemed to help and now that i put the 15 tooth front sprocket on it it really pulled hard from the line all the way through the 1/8th mile. Even thought the bike is lowered, dropping the gearing brought back the wheelies. Still it picked up a tenth. I see by the posts i got the wrong pipe(RS-3) i will call, maybe they have not shipped it and i can get the muzzy. Then thursday night i will take it to test and tune at the track.( Side note)My buddy did a speed wobble top end crash on his 99 Kaw. ZX-9 He's O.K. but the bike is gonna have to have all new plastic. Where is the cheapest place to get factory Farings?It's the blue one. Tank Too?
