It's ok to compare Bush to a monkey, but I would be labeled a racist if I did it with Obama. Think about the double standard. I don't find it funny.

None of this affects how I feel about you guys, so don't take my disappointment as a commentary on you, I just don't find the humor in making fun of a person for their personality traits. Politics is one thing, but to make fun of someone for the way they speak or the way they look is pretty rotten. Especially the President of the United States.

It is typical of a Liberal to counterpoint in any situation, even when uncalled for. Somehow Dems like to call names....etc. I truly believe Liberalism IS a disease, possibly stemming from "feeling" weaker than most..........Maybe that is the reason for their love of Socialism, they just can't handle the real deal.

He was a horrible speaker, there's no doubt about it. I just got so very tired of hearing how "dumb" he was, when people consistently claimed otherwise, both adversaries and political associates. For some reason we assume that a country accent is a trait of stupidity, and while I understand that, it's still wrong.

As for the Obama pictures, I can't say I condone them. Most of them are blatant racism.

VB your right, same reason there is BET(Black Entertainment Television) and not the opposite.
Same reason there is a United ***** College Fund and not the opposite.

We have allowed ourselves to accept the double standards we live with.

I dont believe there should be any laws or funds set up specifically to assist certain races or colors because by their very structure it is racist .


White Entertainment Television would not last long nor would a United Whitey Fund .

Seriously...i TRY to avoid political discussions...I really wish we could Ban the discussions from certain places b/c it turns people who would otherwise be great people to hang out with into hate spewing idiots (both sides) .... it seems some people on here can disagree, highly emotional sometimes, but still be civil the rest of the time.... Kudos to you guys that can look past that stuff when it is time to get together and hang.....


Also...Topic at hand...I think it is very unprofessional to talk like that when you know you are being watched... Yes he is just an "average" guy but he is still second in line to lead the greatest Country in the world. The position deserves utmost respect. I said the same thing about Cheney when the guy was yelling "FU" at him during an interview and he screamed it back.... Would you allow a teacher to yell that at a PTA meeting to someone?? Professionalism is very important.
