Sorry Sarah I love you but I cant stop laughing !

this just makes me laugh....there are 3 threads currently being talked about.

one is killing palin for being stupid, un polished and "average".

one is bashing Obama for his two faced behaviour.

one is a maganie article about how americans wanting both "less government" and lower taxes".

and here we go again, talking about Palin because she is not a well spoken highly polished politician with high priced speech writers and a big dollar public image consultant.

well we elected a guy that was well spoken, highly educated, inspiring, and a great motivational speaker( i mean community organizer) and here we are.

all i can think of is "how do you your hopey changey thing now"......

The Libs are scared to death of her. They are looking for anything to pin on her. Heck they even attacked her kids back in 2008! That's ok because 2010 and 2012 is going to be very damaging for the libs. I can't wait!

We've seen the "just an average guy you can drink a beer with" for the past 8 years and here we are now. Im done with the "average" person trying to run this country. If you truely believe a person who quit as a governor because she got herself into a mess can run this country, then by all means vote for her.

Yes, we are scared of palin :poke:. She would be the greatest thing since sliced bread for the dems if she ran.

afterhours like I said .
I love her being as brave as she is but still wanna laugh at her moments .
Gave respect to a liberal dem who passed by accident and now poke fun at one of from my own party , although I really see myself as an independant these days as nobody seems to represent me anymore ?

truth be told.....if she was not such a threat, people would not be trying so hard to destroy her.

i love how people change thier stories....Palin is stupid, yet Obama is brilliant. on one hand people say that college education does not make people intelligent, yet on the other hand obama is Princeton educated and brilliant..

GW Bush is a regular guy, yet he was both HArvard and YAle educated.....and he was an idiot.....however Clinton and Obama are intelligent as proven by thier college experience and degrees.

we have seen what the Ivy League educated Presidents Bush, Clinton and Obama have done and are doing....

its ok to just say you don't like her, but stop comming up with all this justification for it. you just contadict yourselves.

The best thing she can do is laugh over it too. She sways alot of voters with her personality and I think eventually she can make this come out in her favor.

Who is trying to destroy her? The Liberal media? The reason this is even a story is 1) she was criticizing obama for using a teleprompter while she was reading from notes 2) She could of wrote those 4, i mean 3 things she had on her hand on paper instead of looking 6th grade like and writting it on her hand.

Im not sure where anyone said this. So what your saying is that if I get a degree in fine arts, Im educated enough to run for president?

its ok to just say you don't like her, but stop comming up with all this justification for it. you just contadict yourselves.

Your right, I dont like her. I thought that would of been clear with the above statements. Im not going to stop justifying why I dont like the girl. Using facts about what she has and hasn't done is a way to prove why I dont like her. Maybe you should post reasons why you think she is such a great person rather then just saying "she's a great person" .

yes. if you are a natural born citizen, of atleast 35 years of age and have lived in the country for the last 14 years....your are eligiable to run. we have seen the ivy league graduates screw this country up for the last 17 years. so it is logical that advanced degrees from the best schools on the panet are not a sure fire recipe for success.

i do not think she is a great person, i also do not think i know her or what kind of person she is. all anybody knows is what we see, and what we see is slanted due to the politics of the media.

is there a difference between reading a statement written by a proffesional speech writer and transfered to a teleprompter, and scribbling a few notes on you hand.....sure, does it show who would be a better president, no.

it just helps you, and people that think like you to support your dislike of sarah palin.

she is not polished, and not IVey league educated....but after 8 years of Clinton, and 8 years of GW Bush, and 1 years of Obama, I am not really impressed. The Ivey League Presidents seem to have done a pretty good job of screwing things up.

BenWoj, it is a pleasure to read your analysis and opinions, I truly have never heard Sarah Palin sat ANYTHING of substance. And to say Obama needs a teleprompter? OMG, it was him vrs 140 repubs 2 Fridays ago and he didn't even have any notes! Anyways, I don't argue anymore, I just ride my Hayabusa very fast. Raydog

I agree, the media is slanted. There are many more repubs invited to talk on the popular news broadcastings then progressives. I think they should invite more progressives on to even it out.

I didn't say it did show who would be a better president. If you read my above statement I clearly pointed out why it was hypocritical.

It doesnt take rocket science to break this one down...

GW Bush was yale educated, yale is HW Bush's alma mater, the only reason he was even admited was because of his father... GW bush was an alcholic and had problems with the nose candy for the early part of his life, this is no secret, and a matter of public record...However, he was a bush, so it was swept as well as it could be under the rug...

he didnt graduate from yale because of his grades or intellegence, it was because he was a bush... simple.. and that gave him his grades... he then got his MBA (whoopy) from harvard business under similar pretense...

Obama on the other hand was a no name, from a poor family, who earned his way into princeton, graduated with honors, then was admited to harvard law... he then because president of the harvard law review, an EXTREMLY prestigious honor award to only the best of the best... you dont buy your way in, you only earn it...

other editors and presidents have included 6 supreme court justices, 7 judges, 4 cabinet members, a handful of govenors, attourney generals, ambassadors, Pulitzer prize winners, etc...

Bill Clinton, rich guy, Went to georgetown on a scholarship... graduated from the foreign service school, then was awarded a Rhode Scholarship, perhaps the most prestigious scholarships in the world and attended Oxford, after attending Oxford he went to Yale Law, where he recieved a Juris Doctorate.

Palin attended...4 colleges, all no name, in 4 years, before recieving a B.A. in communications specialising in journalism... about as prestigious as an english degree...

hmm why would someone change colleges every year for 4 years.... more often than not, its not because of your excellent academics...but thats just speculation...

but hey, she won Miss Congeneality....

now lets take a look at some of her spectacular one liners.... direct quotes even...

As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border." --Sarah Palin, explaining why Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience, interview with CBS's Katie Couric, Sept. 24, 2008

"All of 'em, any of 'em that have been in front of me over all these years." --Sarah Palin, unable to name a single newspaper or magazine she reads, interview with Katie Couric, CBS News, Oct. 1, 2008

"Well, let's see. There's ― of course in the great history of America there have been rulings that there's never going to be absolute consensus by every American, and there are those issues, again, like Roe v. Wade, where I believe are best held on a state level and addressed there. So, you know, going through the history of America, there would be others but ―" --Sarah Palin, unable to name a Supreme Court decision she disagreed with other than Roe vs. Wade, interview with Katie Couric, CBS News, Oct. 1, 2008
"[T]hey're in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom." --Sarah Palin, getting the vice president's constitutional role wrong after being asked by a third grader what the vice president does, interview with NBC affiliate KUSA in Colorado, Oct. 21, 2008
"Who calls a shot like that? Who makes a decision like that? It's a disturbing trend." –Sarah Palin, pushing a conspiracy theory that "In God We Trust" had been moved to the edge of coins by the Obama administration (the change was made by the Bush administration in 2007 and was later reversed by Congress, before Obama took office), West Allis, Wisconsin, Nov. 6, 2009

"Ohh, good, thank you, yes." --Sarah Palin, after a notorious Canadian prank caller complimented her on the documentary about her life, Hustler's "Nailin Paylin," Nov. 1, 2008

"They are also building schools for the Afghan children so that there is hope and opportunity in our neighboring country of Afghanistan." --Sarah Palin, speaking at a fundraiser in San Francisco, Oct. 5, 2008

"I think on a national level your Department of Law there in the White House would look at some of the things that we've been charged with and automatically throw them out." --Sarah Palin, referring to a department that does not exist while attempting to explain why as president she wouldn't be subjected to the same ethics investigations that compelled her to resign as governor of Alaska, ABC News interview, July 7, 2009

yeah, she should have used a teleprompter....and made sure all her answers were written by proffesionals and rehearsed . i would still rather have a person that speaks off the cuff, that the polished, con artist that tells you one thing and does another....

"transparency in gov."?

"The fact that we have reached a point where the Federal Reserve felt it had to take this unprecedented step with the American Insurance Group is the final verdict on the failed economic philosophy of the last eight years." Barry Obama

Who is this American Insurance Group he is speaking of?
