The owner of the Utah Jazz and our beloved Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT has had is legs amputated below the knee due to complications of diabetes.

I am Diabetic and as i read this...I think we always think this could not or will not happen to us but in fact it can and most likely will..Hope he makes a full recovery and walks again.

As an executive, Mr. Miller probably allowed himself to get busy and didn't take care of himself. I wonder what he would say now. . . .

By the same token, Diabetes does sneak up on people and frequently is not diagnosed anywhere nearly soon enough just because the symptoms are not immediately harsh enough to demand attention.
