Being a pilot, I found the "airstrip" thing interesting, actually there are quite a few closed strips out there.

I did some "research" and saw a pic of the closed runway, exactly where the person said it was.

Just an interesting footnote, as for validation of any other information, unable to do that.

I want one that reads up to 1000 MPH.  Not corrected.  I'll use my SportVue for that.  Then I can tell the lookie loos that I've only been to 500.  

you could have a face printed like that, make it read way out there with a speedo healer, and have a completely outlandish high speed recall for all the "how fast's" that approach you...

"Look, it's only been up to 385mph this week....had a car get in my way, and had to get out of it".

BTW, I remember those darn 85 mph speedo's, the 1st thing to go in a outlaw prostreet car...
