GenMar riser installation

I got my GenMar handlebar riser today. Installation seems pretty simple, but I can't figure out how to remove the 4 decorative chrome caps from the mounting bolts that attach the handlebar mount to the triple tree. I tried to gently pry one off with no success. Any suggestions?

A small thin flat blade screwdriver will work, it is just a snap in cap.

They are a PIA, scratched the top clamp.

be-careful and not to slip when using mega force to pop em out or you will scratch them dont ask me how I know They are 5 bucks a pop
