Gen 3 Fairings swap

Hey everyone so I looking to buy my first busa and got my eye on the Gen 3. I love all the features of the Gen 3 busa, But I'm not a fan of the body style. I was wondering could it be possible to swap the Gen. 3 Farings for the Gen. 2 farings? Or should I just buy the Gen 2 busa and call it A-day?

Welcome @BusaLife. You are in new territory but I think it would be safe to say that the labor for customization would be extreme to even attempt any fairing swaps.

Aside from looks, consider that the new bike has the gsxr electronics package. Do not need it? Get a gen 2.

And yeah, if you don't like the looks of the Gen 3, you are looking at the wrong bike for sure...

Now that being said, there have been a few people who turned their gen 1 into a gen 2...why I have no idea, would I do it? NOPE.

Ya not worth the time and effort, just find a gen2 Busa that is litterly used and half the cost of a gen3.
