ECU flashed today at Blais Cycle

There are other ways to make the Gen 1 fan (or fans, if you are running two) come on sooner and stay on longer. It is way unusual for a mod like this to be necessary on a stock bike. IMHO, something else is going on, and poppa is about to get fleeced from some wrench with no clue. . .

What are you using for coolant? Try engine ice. Flush the cooling system, replace with engine and make sure you burp it good.

I have engine ice in my busa I took the busa out last Thursday it was about 84 degrees here in Palm Beach Florida and I hit rush hour and the busa started heating up Im going to put on a extra fan and a fan switch that cuts on earlier and do a lower thermostat or may3not the thermostat

You cannot make the fan come on sooner with a Gen 1 through the ecu, that can only be done on a Gen 2. My advice is that you find a mechanic that knows Busas . . .

Thanks Frank your right Ive been researching information and you can only make a gen 2 busa fan come on earlier so Im going to have a Schintz Racing fan installed and a lower temperature fan switch installed do you recommend having a toggle switch for my extra fan or just hooked up to the radiator fan switch and later I will have Schintz Racing flash my ecu , will it hurt my engine riding it with the Yoshumara full system until I get it flashed ??? Thanks for your time and input my friend

Why would you use Schnitz? Are they helping you? There are sponsors on this forum that can flash your ecu for the same price (or lower), and supply you with everything you need to get this bike back on track. The bottom line for me is that coming on this forum prevented you from wasting money, time, and getting frustrated, and as a result, you are now headed in the right direction and will get your bike fixed. So thank me for my time? Go ask Ryan questions . . . I'm out.

Powerhouse is a shop and he can flash you ECU cheaper and with some of the best customer support there is. He can get you anything you need and gets it to you fast.

Powerhouse Motorcycles NY : Full Service Sport Bike Dynojet Tuning Specialists

If you've since ripped it as you should, you should definately notice a difference in first and second. As the first through fourth gear timing restrictions are removed along with the top speed limiter in the newer versions of ecu editor.
It should raise the front wheel much easier under hard throttle now.

Im not trying to hijack this post , I just need alittle information so , I just bought a used power commander off ebay 30 minutes ago called to check getting my bike dyno and forgot to mention the power commander and tbe shop said it was better to dyno the bike through the ecu vs the dyno I bought the power commander because I had a techlusion fuel controller on the bike from the previous owner and it caused problems so my mechanic took it off bike runs better but I guess a little rich so I bought the power commander to where it can compensate for the full system and I also bought a k/n today also. And I also read on here the basic pre programmed maps on the power commander is garbage, I will dyno the bike later on when I can afford it so which is better ecu dyno or power commander dyno ??? Thanks in advance

Flash the ecu to derestrict it and make timing modifications. Don't let anyone touch the fuel map in the ecu. Install the powercommander and get the bike custom fuel tuned through the pc . . . the pc in the right hands
makes a better fuel tune than the ecu can. Don't ask me how I know.
