Clanging near clutch area.

So I have a 2004 Busa with 18,000 miles on it. I’m having a clanking noise as the clutch engages at low rpm. It does it each time I shift but less sensitive in higher gears.

Just wondering what that clinging might possibly be? Has anyone experienced that before? I pulled the clutch cover off and everything felt tight.

Gen1? I thought the loose clutch bolt issue was with the Gen2s so I don’t know.

BTW, the new(er) spray on Black to Black by Mother‘s Polish works wonders on these panels.

I responded to the other thread you posted.....

Check your clutch pack bolts, one of them might be loose

Don't ride it until you do.
