Clanging near clutch area.

So I have a 2004 Busa with 18,000 miles on it. I’m having a clanking noise as the clutch engages at low rpm. It does it each time I shift but less sensitive in higher gears.

Take your clutch cover off and check the bolts on your clutch, sounds like one or more is loose....

and never again start the engine before u checked the clutch as bee wrote (and me too at my homepage)

Are you sure it's a 2004?

My 2004 has a black frame and is all red with no black on the painted areas.
Yours doesn't say Hayabusa on it either. On my tank is a "S" only not the work Suzuki.

Yours is an LE, though, and his has custom paint.
