We went to the memorial at Ken's house on Saturday, about a dozen or so riders visited with Kens friends and family. We then went to the crash site about 35 miles away and examined the site and realized he probly stood the bike up in the turn with too much braking. Very sad and helps us all to be aware of the seriousness of motorcycling.

above is the bridge where he passed a couple cars. This is the start of the turn, he was traveling toward the camera in this shot.

We hiked up to the crash site, you can see the left side of the road was very unforgiving.

Ken ended up here and apparently death was allmost instant, his friend Brent tall blond guy was out in front and had to return to tyr and assist when he realized Ken wasnt catching up.

The county sheriff stopped by when he saw all of us, he was friendly and was thinking about a bike for himself but he has been to alot of crash scenes so is thinking twice now ...
