agv helmet owners - i need info

So I'm looking at an AGV GP-Tech helmet. I've heard good things about the fit.

How far open is the face shield's lowest setting? As is when you open it one click, how big is the gap between visor and chin guard? Shoei have a large gap that seems to funnel wind into my eyes whereas Icons have a very small gap.

So, recommendations?

Based on my experience with AGV, the gap is not huge, but then there are so many variables involved that I have no way of telling you whether or not it will be too big for you. One thing I will mention is that I recently bought a TiTech, and found that while the rest of the helmet was ok, the ear cup area was so shallow I couldn't stand to wear the helmet. It had hard plastic plates for the ear area, and that seemed to make it worse, since there was no "give". I ended up selling it without ever wearing it. Before you drop $500 on one, go find one in a shop somewhere and try it on.
