However, this is a good thread to revisit from time to time.

It's interesting how people soon forget what was done for them in the past...

Canada had a big part of liberating Holland, even to this day if you visit there and they find out you are or were a Canadian soldier, they open the flood gates with appreciation. The Dutch government still sends thousands of tulip bulbs to Canada each year for our national tulip festival in our nations capital.

I personally ran into a general from France and asked him if he was trained in the new tactical combat stance the French army implemented....he said he hadn't and I said I'd show him...
