YOSHIMURA HEPTA FORCE TITANIUM BLU CARBON SLIP-ONS [Unboxing]

Ordered on May 16. Shipped on August 2. Delivered on August 4. Guys, I'm overwhelmed. So many bags of parts, but it has been such a nice unboxing experience. No, I'm not an unboxing weirdo fetishist. :p I'm just mentioning that because I feel I got my money's worth due to everything looking good and being packed safe. :D

Gotta give the piggy a washy in the morning before taking the stock pipes off (I've done so previously to test noise levels). Then I'll carefully install these and record them with my LG V60, which records better sound than this Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra I'm on.

Yes. I loved it on first sight. What is EC? Emissions compliance?

Regarding photos, sure, that's the plan. How could I not post pictures of them installed on the bike? :)

Greetings from Puerto Rico!
small typo :banghead: , I meant CE approval:
from google:
The letters CE stand for "Conformité Européenne", which means "European Conformity". The CE mark symbolizes the conformity of the product with the applicable requirements that the European Community places on the manufacturer.

Wow those are super nice, are they really blue with a hint of purple? Will they stay that color? Where did you order from? I think I want a pair.
Yeah. They're for Gen 3. One of the pictures shows 2021 Hayabusa. In person they're stunning. :D Yeah, they look just like in the pic...blue, purple and yellow. They are anodized stainless steel.

According to the manual, as long as dish soap is used to wash them clean of any skin oil from touching them before getting them hot, and chemical cleaners are avoided, the finish should last a long time.

I ordered them from WRS Italy. If you order them today, the delivery says September, but that's not guaranteed. Mine were supposed to be delivered in June, and I got no e-mail after that date. Wrote WRS and they said Yoshimura ran out of materials.

Yeah, my slip-ons did not exist when I ordered them. :p WRS finally got them at the end of July. Gladly it doesn't look like a rush job like it happened to a fellow here with his Akrapovic system. I'd cry if I got that sloppy job with tooling marks on the pipes. :(

These would look so good on your white bike. I'd say go for it if you want a quiet system. They brought silencer inserts, so chances are without them they make a bit more noise than the stock pipes. Sorry for being so wordy. :)

These are not readily available, so you'll probably be the only one rocking them in your area :D

Oh OK. Ha-ha. Yeah, these are only compliant with Japanese regulations.

The last time i bought a pair of yoshi new, they were foam sprayed into the box.

The pipe work looks so much better than the Akrapovic link pipes i had. Your Yoshi look very nice
Were they Yoshimura USA or Japan? Maybe they do things better in Japan, he-he. Yeah, I was surprised at the quality. Not a single tooling mark or blemish. Whoever built them was not in a hurry even though Yoshimura Japan ran out of materials and built them just recently.

I'm currently installing them as of 0014 hours. Been getting rained on, and it's super windy. Had trouble with the stock band clamp fitting the Yoshi pipe. It's much bigger and it's hard to bend. I have no tools, so I'm struggling. This is how it looks so far.

Gotta see now if the Yoshi pipe will tighten with the stock clamp against the stock outlet. The ID is much bigger. This has been holding me for hours. It's why I, a previous aircraft mechanic, DESPISE working on my own stuff. It's always something ruining my progress. :(

Nevermind. Pipe was "too big" because I wasn't paying attention and switched the Yoshi L side pipe with the R side one.
Hey that kind of stuff happens a lot more then i like to admit with me being a full time mechanic . I really thought those pipes were smaller but they are still beautifully made and definitely the right brand for a busa:thumbsup:can't wait to see the finished project:beerchug:.

Well, that's reassuring then. :p It took me longer than it should've, and I still need to install the carbon fiber heatshields, but it's properly done now. I did scratch a pipe, but the anodized finish is really fragile. Scratched it with the rubber holder. I was delicate, but still. :(

Anyway, how do they sound? Same tone as the stock ones but louder and bassier. Just what I wanted. I'm 100% satisfied. :D Any louder and I would've disliked them. I still want to be able to hear the engine's gorgeous induction and valvetrain sounds.

Here is a sound clip:

Sorry for the wind noise. I put my V60 on my TechGripper holder in the stem hole but it still picked up noise. Use headphones if you can, so you can hear the bassy note.

That's beautiful, man. I'm jelaous, here in EU I'll never get to use something this nice on the street. Enjoy, and thanks for the photos and sound clip! That intoxicating "roar" that arrives at 5-6k RPM on stock system seems to be present at lower revs, or my ears deceive me. I especially like how the grunt is low, raspy, but not obtrusively loud.

Yeah, man...I know what you mean with the intoxicating roar. :D It arrives earlier but more intense. The recording doesn't do it justice. The overall exhaust tone is perceptibly twice as bassy and as loud. 96db without the silencer baffle thingie.

It's ear-filling even with earplugs. I'm so happy with these slip-ons. Only con is they scratch so easily. But oh well. Not gonna think about it! It's a road bike. I'll take care of it and forget its blemishes. :)

Bummer about you not being legal to use it in EU. :(
