Went to see mum and dad yesterday.
Charged up the Sat-Nav, GoPro and Bluetooth and left about 9am, it's not that far only 75 miles each way.
First time Lynne's been on the back of a bike for that long.
Uneventful Ride down just set the Sat-Nav to motorways.
Different on the way back. I set the Sat-Nav to no motorways, big mistake.
First off I nearly dropped the bike about 200 yards from me mum and dads house, I turned left and seemed to loose my coordination, stopped, felt the bike going down, stuck my leg out and thought this is it I'm not going to save this, but somehow managed to pull and kick the bike upright.
Then the ride home, now I know a lot of these roads well but the amount of traffic, speed cameras, and traffic jams was crazy, resorted to filtering through the cars at the end, or I think I'd still be there.
Then I took a wrong turn, my fault, got confused with the Sat-Nav, and ended up in a traffic jam where they were doing road works.
By that time I'd had enough, stopped and done the Sat-Nav to motorways.
Got home safe, but Lynne's knees and feet were done in, my butt hurt like hell, and my legs and feet were aching.
And it was only a 150 mile ride altogether.
But we had fun.
