short answer is no. they are not a direct swap. if you wanna get into a costly and extensive swap then yes. complete forks are needed, brake components, etc, then the rear i have yet to hear a straight answer on. search "wheel swap" and some threads will come up.

Brake lines are different. Brake rotors are different. Rear sprockets are different. Pads front and rear are different.

I have TL1000 rims on mine. Those are a direct swap.

Easy answer is just put a Gen-II fork on a Gen-I.
