About a year ago, very early in the morning, I was on my way to the meeting point for a breakfast run. Usually at 5:30 am on a Sunday there are very little traffic, and the cops are usually still sleeping. So I thought I would clear the cobwebs on the intakes a bit. I was doing approximately 250 km/h when I passed a trap. Getting caught at that speed means immediate arrest and bike impound. So I did not stop, banking on the idea that they would take some time to get their cars up to speed. I took the next turnoff, crossed over the bridge, turned around, an stopped. I quickly took off my jacket and threw it in the bushes, and flipped my plate back up. Then I lit a smoke and stood waiting for them. Not too long and one came flying past. The second car took the turnoff and stopped in front of me. I act all friendly and helpful, and explain that I came from that way down this road, I haven't been on the other road, and I never saw any bike pass by. They were extremely suspicious and tried to get me to confess, but lacking the jacket, and having a plate was enough to cast doubts.
