Which is the Speedo signal wire?

Hey everyone... Ok, there are 3 wires going to/from the speed sensor. One is ground which is easy. Then there are:

black/red

pink

I need to know which actually sends the modified signal to the gauge, as opposed to the one that sends voltage to the sensor.

Thanks,

Bump...

Thanks mobite, but the speedo isn't really mentioned in any of
those wires you listed

I tried simply finding out which wire had voltage... The problem is that they both do, so what I thought would be a fairly easy test to find the "input" didn't work out at all.

If I had to bet money I'd bet it's the black/red simply because the only other pink wire
on the bike goes from the gear position to te ECU... So it would stan to reason that even though it's coming from the speedo that the pink is the gear position modifier for the signal?

If anyone can confirm or deny this I would really appreciate it!

Thanks,
