Credible site or not, it's a stellar example of how the media manipulates everything to its own advantage. I am so sick of media outlets on both sides of the political fence reporting only one side of a story, or even worse, manipulating words and images to advance their own agenda. It is getting to the point where formerly reputable news sources are fast becoming worse than the tabloid magazines.......

I concur one must survive. As for the site I just wanted to know if they pass good word or are just some a## clowns trying to stir up shid.

We must all learn to filter the news we receive and pull what we need from it and no more. This merely looks like survival to me. They should have shown the people with 8-10 pairs of shoes around their heads, no food, no water, just shoes. That would have made their point.
The situation in New Orleans is deteriorating more each minute. What is the policy of showing dead bodies on TV? Anyone know, cause it is starting to happen.
Also, the censors can't work fast enough. I just saw one woman repeating "Fu*k Ray Nagin !!" (mayor of New Orleans) over and over again, with hand gestures, all on CNN.

I would like to see the link to the actual news posting and not just their thread. It looks like a fake caption to me. If not shame on them, but I don't buy it.
I don't think food and diapers should be considered "looting", especially when the devastation is so wide spread. Its definately a case of the media being selective.
They did not seem to raise a great cry when the hotels sent people out into the streets-" we don't care where you go but you can't stay here!"
The media also does not have a problem, other than passing on the information, with the fact that the police are sending some folks back into the flooded areas.
But God forbid somebody should take food......cause thats "Looting" , never mind that the store will throw it in the trash when its time to clean the mess up.
Sorry for the rant, its an emotional issue for millions of folks.

According to Neal Boortz, an Atlanta bsaed radio personality, he actually saw this on Yahoo news website. He was talking about it this morning. If you go to his wb site Boortz.com and look in Nealz News you will prbably see it there.

Have you noticed that most of the media coverage is of the incompetence in New Orleans and the blame game that is being played over there? The coverage of the things and people that are doing right and being true Americans is few and far between.I just love it, the Media once again just keeping friction among the races, trying to brainwash undeveloped minds, nothing new here.

I am also very tired of the "everything bad that happens to blacks is because they are black" attitude that I see in the media and also on this board at times. People need to grow up and show concern for their fellow human beings rather than trying to get some political message across.

That's crap. I don't care how poor I am, if a life threating storm is coming you better believe I'd be outta there.
The sick, old, young, and those who care for them. I can understand why they can't leave. But just because they're poor, no way.
They were all betting on the hurricane missing them, bottom line.
