Keep them an put them back on the bike if you trade. Your custom wheels are worth more alone than resale they add to the bike.

Send them off and have them chromed. Would seem valuable to me to be able to buy chrome wheels without having to wait for shipping and exchange.....

I bought an extra set and am polishing the originals.
Front rim is done(50 hrs!!???),rear rim is calling me.:moon::moon:
Nice having a set of tires/rims ready to go.Plus your chain, sprockets etc. get half the wear time put on them, when alternating back and forth.
There is the initial cost of course, but took my time and aquired brake discs, sprocket etc. pretty cheaply.

Mine are mounted in the trailer with rotors ready to mount. They have been used several times by org members needing to borrow them to get their busa home from one of our meets, due to a spill or other problems.
