Should I replace the valve springs/retainers/shims? Everything else is stock with 9k on it.

Was going to spray a 30 shot and that's it. Thinking of adding a safety barrier at the moment and then if I ever want to up the shot a little bit in the future it will hopefully handle it.

Is my thinking straight or off level?

Thanks.

30 shot is small you dont have to do anything to the bike but add a little bit of fuel.

where is the best placement for the nozzle/s? is it better to have one in the air box or one in each intake duct?

Gen 1 can easily handle a 100 shot with stock parts. Your limitation is the fuel system. It will max out around a 60 shot.
