Vortex Frame Slider Question

I just had the dealer install a set of vortex frame sliders on my Busa and when I went in to pic it up, the first thing that I noticed was that the freakin things were sticking out from the bike at totally different lengths! I immediately said "That looks like crap, would you want your bike to look like that?". The service guy that did it comes out and says "They are like that from vortex, that is how that set looks when mounted". I told him that I have seen plenty of frame sliders mounted on many bikes but I have never seen some crap like that and that I wanted it fixed! They also F-ed up my right side decal set during the install, so now they have ordered a new set of decals for the whole right side and I have to bring the bike back and have them install the decals. Look at the pics and chime in guys, are they full of crap or what?

Hate to say it, but yep - that's the way Vortex sliders are. The right side sticks out more.

They are that way from Vortex. Shoot GIXERHP a PM, me thinks he has a mod to make them even.

Okay, well, now I feel like an azz for going off on that service guy. I owe him a big apology and I will deliver it in person tommorrow. I will pm GIXERHP and see if he can shed a little light of making them even. Thanks VMAN 1300!

You can make them both stick out far by using a spacer on the left side....and a longer bolt.
