Great work! I lowered my bike and put a hole on my “trash can trunk”. I converted to the gsxr tail and put the OEM tail away, but i will definitely be doing this when I go back to my OEM tail setup. Did I miss it or you didn’t mention how thick that plate was?

why wouldn't work on a lowered bike? mine is lowered two inches front and back and i run the aluminum tiger tail with masive room in there and i dont rub on that. i opted to keep my orig piece intact for future use... not that use the bike much since it sits behind a pile of concrete bags, tiles, dollies and lawn equipment now days... but this would be the best set up i can see for the orig undertray...

Because it comes down further into tire contact area than what you have .

This one was donated to a police officer that uses a Hayabusa as his patrol bike . His DVR unit will be housed in the storage tray I made .
