Velocity stacks?

been looking around. Now want to get the pros opinion. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to using stacks on a turbo application?

probably non existent as most manufacturers don't have stacks in their plenum designs. I think the small difference in power could be made elsewhere with a lot less engineering and fabrication time.

Many do ,its not any more difficult to do when your mounting the tubes to have them extend into the plenum with a flared or radiused entry .

equal length sounds about right.... but if you just want a little more power just add another .2lbs of boost to compensate.

these suckers spin up pretty fast on motorcycles. Not much additional smoothing needed. For cars I think there's a bigger benefit and could help smooth the curve.

Pinky(Chris) offers velocity stacks with a machined step on the edge. You cut your hole in the lower plate,......and drop these in and tig away!!! No alignment issues.........unless you overheat your plate during welding!:banghead:
