velocity fmu question

well I'm finishing up the install of my stage 1 velocity kit and everything has gone smoothly except now at the very end.  There isn't any room to mount the FMU, the pipe from the plenum is in the way.  I wonder if anyone else had this problem and had any suggestions.  I'll try and post some pics when I get off work.

mount it where the air box bolt hole is in the frame, did it come with a bracket?

yeah it came with the bracket but the pipe from the plenum is in the way, I checked the plenum several times and it is positioned correctly. I might just mount it on the side. I just want to make sure it's secure.

yeah the plenum I have doesn't look like the one shown on their site for stage 1 kit.  It looks more like the one for stage 2 minus the injectors and fuel rail.  I'll have to just call and ask.

just thought I'd update, they told me they changed their kits and that they were suppose to supply a self tapping screw to relocate the fmu to the right of where the airbox mounted.  No big deal, a lot easier to go get a screw than have to replace the whole plenum

It will fit in the hole in center of frame you just have to give the bracket a good bend it bends pretty easy
