Here is a guide on how you make a Hayabusa 2008, from underpower to fullpower. In some countries like Norway these bikes come as underpowered.
This tutorial is just for educational purpose. You are responsible for any modifications
on your bike or any missuse of this information.

1. Deassemble the seat. Under it you will find the battery and 2 "scart" like cables connected to the ECU(Bikes computer).

2. Disconnect minus cable to the battery. To prevent any shortwire to the ECU.

3. Pull out the lightgrey "scart" contact from the ECU.

4. Flipp the lightgrey "scart" contact and you shall find these wires and colors

5. From left you count 7 wires. On the 7th you will find a black wire with white stripe. Over it's position it's a letter P.

6. This is the wire who electronical is blocking your remaining horsepowers. Eighter cut this wire or dissconnect it from the "scart" contact.

7. Seal the end of the cut wires with tape.

8. Reconnect the battery cable.

During 6000rpm and above you will feel the extra horsepowers

In countries like Norway these bikes come with restricted 106hp. Makes it cheaper to buy and cheaper insureance. The tutorial just shows how you can get the remaining horsepowers ;)

Hmmmmmmm makes you wonder if these bikes are restricted here in some way also? Probably not, just some food for thought

HAHAHA sweet!!! That almost doubles your HP for free!

You guys still have the mode switch?

would like to see that on the dyno. I wouldnt think the factory wiring would have this built in. I looked at my bike in the States and it has that wire. And I have no restrictions. I will have to look in a diagram and see what it is you are accually cutting and what it is there for.

same situation here in Belgium; restriction 78Kw  (106pk) . Here ,also cut the black wire/white wire from the ecu> fullpower.
Do not forget that our ECU is different than the ecu from the US
I was not aware that Norway (just like France and Belgium)also had a restriction on their "power"bikes

It does make you wonder if ours are cut back at all, and if there would be any benifit for us doing this. I know you said it's a different ecu, but could ours be simmilar just different wires?

I think France is on the Neutered list of bikes also (nothing over 100hp)

.. is it possible for us here in the U.S. to do this and get more HP? Quick .... someone research this info. and get it out......

The restriction on our bikes (Belgium, france) is due to secondaries which almost stay closed. If you cut the black/white wire than the secondaries will open like with the normal (full power) bikes.
