Ummm My dad hit a bear!

My dad sent my sister a card to say happy birthday, and said the farm was doing well, new kittens, bull's are doing well, bla bla bla. I hita 400lb bear the other night outside of orange messed up the car pretty bad. Im doing ok though. The Tomatoes are ripe...you should come down soon!

You hit a BEAR??? I've been searching to see if i can find anything on it. Nothing yet. He lives in Louisa...(right off 33 about 15 mintues from where we saw that guy with the turbo busa last year)
SO something like this is a big deal if it died and they found it.
