As I enjoy all these Innaugural Festivities, I think back to watching Bush get innagurated twice. He wasn't my pick but I watched anyway. (At least he is from Texas)

It is truly sad that MOST of y'all can't put your Obama-Hateraid down long enough to respect the significance of this truly historic moment. But maybe that is evidence of something deeper, maybe not.

At any rate, I am loving this. Pizz on the haters. Respect the man that is now OUR President (I have for the last 8 years, even though it was a little hard)

why would anyone take it personal that I do not care to watch him or any other crook step into office (all political figures are crooks IMHO, just a bunch of out of work lawyers that want a golden parachute to retire on).. As my opinion of lawyers is so bad, you can just imagine where my thoughts go when they have to go into politics to make a living.. these guys made careers out of doing the dirty work of society... they are all scum until they prove otherwise.. (Ronald Regan for instance was not a lawyer and a real guy)

did not watch Regan go in to office either.. in fact I had to work today when ever this even occurred.. if I had a portion of the 150M they spent today, I might be able to take the time off.. but I have a job and am doing it...

To each is his/her own decision. Sometimes we should at least be able to give reverance to a historical event.

I don't hate Obama SSPlaya, so please don't accuse me of something that isn't true. I just disagree with his politics, and the politics of the democratic party. There is a huge difference in disagreeing with someone's politics and hating them. As far as what some people think, that people bash Obama for being black, that is absolutley not true in my case. I think it is absolutely amazing that he is the first black president, and yes, I did watch the events today and was happy for him. I just am not happy that he is a democrat. But it is what it is, and I am happy for Obama for that, and I wish he and his family peace, success, and safety. I also have bashed Bush on several occasions for some of the dumb things he has done, and I am a die-hard Republican. I would say that probably makes me fairly balanced in my bashing, and praise. I'll never bash Obama for being black, that would be stupid, racist, and of no value, nor would I ever engage in such words, as that is not who I am. Be aware though, I will be watching Obama's politics very closely. And if he does something I don't like, just like Bush, I will exercise my right to free speech and say what I think, just as all of you should do. So let's hope for four years of prosperity and peace!

I turned on the inauguration at 10:58am. Watched Obama be sworn in and listen to his speech. It was a very moving and well written piece of work. I am glad for him, it is a great accomplishment for all of America. I too do not agree with his politics and only time will tell what kind of president he will be. I hope for all our sakes he is the best president ever!!!!! God Bless the USA!!

now (and just give in to what they want)...now that the dems are in
control...they want to "reach across the isle in bipartisionship"

They weren't reaching across the isle when the repubicans were in control
and REFUSED to even give Bush's judge appointees an up or down vote for
over 2 YEARS...and then threaten to SHUT DOWN CONGRESS if Bush appoints
another one when not in session (Cause he was tired of waiting). Shut down
congress...yeah, that's what's best for the country...they were more concerned
with their power or loosing it...now it's reach across the isle and do what
