Ive been toying with the idea of trading my Honda VFR800 for a small 750cc'ish cruiser. Since I hardly ever ride the VFR any more and have the Busa now, I thought getting a good used low maintenance cruiser might be a good idea.

Whatcha think?

Yeah I have some pics. I'll have to post them when I get home. Yeah its been rock solid, it has nearly 33,000 miles now. When I say low maintenance, im thinking longer lasting tires, better gas mileage, perhaps a shaft drive depending on the bike, etc...

This is hardly set in stone, I was just thinking about trading.

Perhaps a DRZ400 Supermotard would be on the list as well.

The Shadow 750 is not very easy on gas (or at least my wife's was not). I think you will be pretty upset with the performance compared the the VFR. The only downside I'm aware of on the VFR is the valve adjustment but only on the newest generation (VTEC 2002 up). I think your orange was only offered in 98 (or was it 99). Neat bikes!

It does look kinda orange in the pic. But its a candy apple red. Its just the lighting combined with a crappy camera. That pic is atleast 3 years old.

I have a 04 VFR in the stable, its a great bike. Be really hard to give it up for a smaller bike with less performance on all levels.
