Too much car for a 16 yr old?

Wow.  Nice - but +1 on watching the BFs!  Not that they would know how to drive that thing!
Yea..already covered that program...

1.)  Car will be de-tuned to stock output prior to her taking over
2.)  No one....at all gets to drive the car except her..(and us, of course)
3.)  GPA must stay above 3.0.
4.)  No tickets.

Otherwise...the car goes away.
You may have to be leniant on the ticket thing. I mean if she gets a ticket for doing 33 in a 25 that's somewhat understandable that the LEO was being an a-hole. Happened to me when I was 16 and my parents weren't pissed at me as much as the LEO for being overzealous...happened in my own 'hood to.

Also, got arrested by a LEO for riding my 100cc motorcycle around the neighborhood streets when I was only 12...even had gear on. He said you need a license for anything 100 cc+ and cuffed me! My friend on his moped was allowed to just run along. My friends dad came running down and talked the officer before he hauled me off to juvi. I still hate that #####.

Nice car and a great dad!! You have a lucky daughter! I hope she realizes it or do 3/4 of the kids already have new cars and BMWS, mustangs, SUVS, etc.. ?

My daughter is 12 and some of her friends older brothers and sisters get new cars like I got a skate board handed to me when I was younger! Generation gap or something??

Sheesh, I dunno... if she's an excellent driver, and will appreciate just how good she has it? Cool.

But I dunno, if she takes it for granted and doesn't work for it or anything, I'd say it's going to spoil the gal.

I started her driving when she was 12. Just like my dad did for me.
She is a very responsible kid, and very "grounded". She gets to share it with my wife for awhile...keep some of the miles off our pickup..

We do our best to make sure she doesn't take anything for granted...
So you got her out there bailin hay too right!

Excellent...

Besides, with a flash car provided by you? It gives you more leverage. Cool Cars.

She doesn't have to bail hay, as the horses and cows eat it all...she does have to change water and share in taking care of the animals...

and yea....it gives us a ton of leverage!

Cool car man. Good buy as far as safty goes. Cant beat the side impact air bags and such of the VW's. Plus if taken care of they will last FOREVER. On that note de-tuning it would be a great idea and maybe a GPS for tracking? I know to some that seems extreme..but one night in front of the local news and people would be quick to change their minds. I have a few teenager cousins and it isnt how your raised your little girl that you have to worry about it is some of the other kids...cause peer pressure is a biotch.

I know what you're sayin'....we've all been there...

nice little car. She will enjoy it lots...
throw in a new exhaust on that thing and it will sounds badass. GHL makes GREAT pipes for the VW's.
congrats to your lucky daughter and you are a cool dad!
