I Ran about a mile with 6 to 8 lbs of boost
water injection

it looks to be a tad lean and also ran too long up top
is this a stage 1? fmu?
there have been issues before with an fmu causing this
do you know what the a/f was on this application?
any race gas or was it pump gas?

Dude! That was not from running a mile on boost. I've done a mile plenty of times, more likely it was lean and mean. Oh well time to rebuild.

Hey guys
if it was lean from the fmu
how come just 2 cyls have a problem
I would think their would be all cyls
I do have a wide band o2 on it but was not looking at it

Their could be a number of reasons why, for one the fuel and ignition for the inner and outer cylinders are different, your injector might need to be cleaned and ballanced, you mighy also need to syncronize the throttle bodies, lots of little things that can add up in a turbo application, to create problems..

nasty...i agree about so many variables of a turbo bike. Could be a combo of running to long on pump, no C16, not intercooled, injectors, FMU ect.... More than likely a pump fuel WOT run that was a tad bit to long on a non intercooled bike. Then again thats just my guess

might want to check for lifted ring landings on the other 2
but as the others have said yes the maps arent the same for the inner 2 as they are the outer 2
and the top speed limiter also cuts 1 and 4 before 2 and 3
so there are a few variables that could have lead to the failure of the pistons

well I ordered parts today
from APE
81mm turbo pistons and a 80 plate and headgasket
rods
head bolts and nuts
sent the cyl in to get stock back
65lbs valve springs and seals
Did I miss anything
O I forgot MONEY

you should've called.???

rods- you must be expecting to exceed 330 rwhp....
Are you getting oversized head bolts or are you just doing hd studs?
If you were doing pistons and rods...plus the whole plating package...I would have went big bore turbo

valve spring and seals weren't needed unless they were leaking already. The stock head will take what you can throw at it pretty much.
