Hi gang,
Anyone checked out the Thunderbirds this past weekend over at Alliance Airport ?
All I can say was WOW !

Only thing missing was my camera.

I thought that the mechanics/precision of the Thunderbirds were slightly better than the Blue Angels this year. Next time, I'll remember to post some photos

I havent seen them in a few years but the #3 Thunderbird this year is a female pilot, a Major. First time ever for a female pilot in the Thunderbirds! Pretty cool if you ask me!

No pics... disappointment doesn't even cover what I am feeling right now.
I haven't seen the Thunderbirds in many years, not since they visited Minot AFB.

Blue Angels rock as well, but have you seen the Italians?

They are completely insane or at least they use to be.

There is a group in Europe called the Red Arrows. I was deployed to Cyprus once and the R.A.F. base that we were working and living on is the practice grounds for the Red Arrows. They go there every year to practice/warm up before going on tour. I got to see these guys fly at least 2 or 3 times a week for 3-4 weeks. Very impressive group indeed.
